Resourcing Local Services 2020-21 - All Our Communities rely on Local Government

All our communities rely on essential local services. From schools to bin collections, social care to transport, housing to leisure services, they are the bedrock of all our day-to-day lives. But local government has lost over £1bn since the onset of austerity a decade ago, making it ever harder every year to continue to provide over 700 cherished council-run local services. By working with Welsh Government to secure a fair funding settlement for local government, vital local services would be better placed to contribute so much more to the wellbeing of our communities.
